The Beginning

Our Story

Staring at the vacant shell of a beloved neighborhood burger joint, award-winning chef Kyler Roney felt the pangs of nostalgia.

A yearning for a simpler time: 100% beef patty smashed on the grill, beef tallow fries, and a thick custard shake to wash it all down. And so Provo Burger was born with one simple mission: make burgers great again.

Local wagyu beef, smashed thin on the grill so the American cheese melts into those crispy edges. A bun delivered fresh daily from Utah's own Salt City Bakery. Our in-house secret sauce. Pickles for bite. The perfect burger after a long day of skiing that Sundance powder.

And while our shakes are nothing fancy, they're fresh seasonal offerings in an old-fashioned custard base. You'll be surfing the lake, praying we haven't sold out yet.
